1. CLUB NIGHT - Fri. 2nd Aug. - Model Car Display
RIchmond Club 7p.m. - meal 7.30pm
Meal at 7.30pm after paid for ($35), drinks ordered and table chosen. Fun, social and informative evening.
If not phoned by a committee member and you wish to attend contact Secretary Miles Winter mgcccanterbury@gmail.com or text 021 344 883 (not phone) before mid-day Wednesday as catering numbers are needed.
Please avoid cancelling for other than health or crisis as we do pay for meals of non-attendees - thanks.
Model Car Exhibition - bring along your favourite model car for display - just one. Does not need to be an "MG". It can be another favourite model car - Dinky Toy, a self-constructed model, 1:18 ....
You might choose to write a short note to give an explanation of your thoughts or a moment in history - adds interest but not essential.

3. WINTER WOOLIES - Sun. 4th Aug.
Cashmere Club - 11am
A wander out to Ferrymead Transport Museum - closed for the winter but we have use of a hall for our picnic lunches and to share the traditional Tony Reid produced mulled wine.
Bring your picnic lunch - and it could include food to heat on the bbq as the club bbq will be available.

4. MMM RUN - Wed. 21st Aug.
Yaldhurst Hotel car park - 10.30am
A relaxed drive to a picnic spot - visiting a place of interest. BYO lunch or pick up en route - under cover so no problem if weather miserable. Check website/emails for any changes, or contact organiser.

VCC Grounds - McLeans Island
The Club sets up its Gazebo and displays our cars alongside other makes. Come and join us for the display and go and search the sales stalls for that elusive piece of treasure/junk. Let Grant know you will have your car on display.

10.15am Dunsandel Café for morning tea. Depart 11am.
Friday night - Oamaru. Book own accommodation. Group meal in evening.
* Could drive to Oamaru early Sat. 26th; meet before all depart on day's run.
SATURDAY 26th & SUNDAY 27th
Booked MG accom. in Ranfurly - Hawkdun Lodge & Ranfurly Hotel now fully booked.
SATURDAY 26th - historic pub lunch, curling & evening meal - all booked.
SUNDAY 27th - historic pub for morning coffee (scones optional). Vulcan Hotel, Hayes Engineering. Evening pub meal booked.
MONDAY 28th - drive homeward - choice of Dansey’s Pass or a S.Hwy.
** For those also driving the Hakataramea Pass, it is suggested
you overnight the 28th in Fairlie. (Geraldine if you prefer). Make your own motel booking; group meal arranged nearer the time. Will be travelling these roads as a group.
