1. Club Night Meals.

Phonecalls are now earlier (weekend prior) as catering numbers are needed by Monday evening. If not rung by teatime (6pm) Monday and you would like to attend, please just contact Secretary Miles early Monday evening. mgcccanterbury@gmail.com or text 021 344 883.

2. Read our MaG on-line.

With rising cost of print and postage options are having to be considered to ensure our excellent MaG continues to reach members as regularly as it has in the past. Click here for the latest edition (Feb/March).

On a computer the 'button' with three dots on the top right of the page offers "Two Page View" and "Present". Keyboard arrows turn pages. "Esc" key returns to normal computer page.

1. Club Night - Fri. 2nd May

RIchmond Club 7p.m. - meal 7.30pm

Meal 7.30pm after paid for ($35), drinks ordered, table chosen. Fun, social, informative evening - John McDonald, our archivist, will take us back into earlier motoring times - you will remember his very interesting, illustrated club night presentation from last year.

If not phoned by a committee member and you wish to attend contact Secretary Miles Winter mgcccanterbury@gmail.com or text 021 344 883 (not phone) early Evening Monday as catering numbers are needed.

Please avoid cancelling for other than health or crisis as we do pay for meals of those not attending.

Departure from New World Halswell carpark - 10am

To Roger and Dael's Wainui 'home', "The Old Schoolhouse". Tea, coffee, toilet etc provided. Bring your lunch and a chair. If weather is poor then Wainui Community Centre.

Please bring a $2 coin/car donation - to the Wainui residents association; will be using the community centre if the weather is inclement.

Welcome!

The MG Car Club Canterbury Centre has its roots in the original 'MG Car Club of New Zealand', formed in 1952 when many of the country's motorsport enthusiasts drove our favourite marque in the shape of TCs, TAs, Ps and Js.

From those early beginnings the NZ Club has devolved into four major Centres, two in the North Island and two in the South. Each of these Centres is autonomous, organising competitive and social events for members within its regions. Like the 'Crusaders' our region includes Nelson, Marlborough and the West Coast as well as Canterbury. There are also a range of inter-Centre and national activities you are able to enjoy. And of course, if you are visiting another region you will be most welcome to participate in any of their events, competitive or social.

Like most MG Clubs around the world we are affiliated to the MGCC UK ensuring access to badging, logos and so on. We also maintain regular contact with a number of Centres in NZ, Australia, the US and the UK to help ensure we offer the best possible benefits and MG enjoyment for all of our members.
